Talabani to meet PUK’s leaders Tuesday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani will meet on Tuesday with the members of the political bureau and leaders of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.

The website of PUK quoted the spokesperson of the Political Bureau of PUK, Azad Jindiyani as saying “After this meeting, President Talabani will start meeting the Iraqi leaders to discuss the political disputes in Iraq and means of settling these disputes during their visits to Talabani.”

Jindiyani added “Talabani will receive during the next days each of the Premier Nouri al-Maliki, head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council Ammar al-Hakim and others.”

The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani has arrived in Sulaimaniya province in the north of Iraq on Monday evening, coming from Germany where he underwent a surgery for his knee.
