Tayfour: Kirkuk city of coexistence among communities

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The second Deputy Speaker, Arif Tayfour, stressed “The importance of respecting all the religions, the communities as well as the sects and languages within the Iraqi community.”

A statement by Tayfour’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Tayfour received the German charge d’affaires in Baghdad and representatives of International Institution on Sunday,” noting that “Tayfour confirmed the Kurds’ desire to live peacefully with their Arab brothers.”

“Kirkuk needs more efforts to provide services yet some sides attempt to destabilize the security situation in the province for political aims and foreign agenda,” the statement added.

“For his part, German charge d’affaires confirmed that the project aims at helping the Iraqi cities including Kirkuk to develop them,” the statement continued.

“Tayfour praised the role of the international organizations which seeks supporting Iraqis to achieve social justice,” the statement concluded.
