Tensed disputes take place within Wasit PC over dismissing PC member

Wassit (IraqiNews.com) Tensed disputes took place among the members of Wassit Provincial Council after voting over dismissing the PC member, Ahmed Abdul Salam, on Sunday.

A source from the PC stated to IraqiNews.com “The disputes reached the level of exchanging the accusations,” noting that “Five members withdrew from the session after vote on dismissing Salam.”

Wassit PC voted on dismissing the General Directors of the Education Department and the Health Department on the background of corruption and inefficiency charges.

The PC voted on dismissing Salam because rejected assuming any post within the PC in addition to corruption charges.
