Timimi accuses key officials of manipulating general funds

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Majida al-Timimi, of the Economic Parlaimentary Committee accused key officials of being behind manipulating the general funds.

She stated to IraqiNews.com “There are mafias led by powerful governmental politicians who are not shown in the front always.”

“We have called to host the acting Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq to know about the new policy of the Bank and its procedures,” she concluded.

Earlier, the head of the investigation committee over the Development Fund of Iraq, Ahmed al-Chalabi, confirmed smuggling Dollars abroad through the Central Bank of Iraq.
