Tuma withdraws from heading committee tasked for discussing Hawija clashes

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Investigation Committee tasked to discuss the clashes that took place in Hawija, announced the withdrawal from the committee due to the statements of MP, Mudhhir al-Janabi, where he described the committee as “Lacking the political deal.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “In spite of not completing the report of the committee over Hawija clashes, MP, Janabi, stated to the media outlets that the committee lacks the political deal by its members where I announce my resignation from the chairmanship and membership of the committee.”
