Turkey condemns Monday bombings in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Turkey condemned the latest bombings that took place in Baghdad and several provinces on Monday resulted in killing and injuring hundreds of civilians.

The Turkish Foreign Minister said in a press statement “We strongly condemn the wave of bombings that targeted the Iraqi provinces and resulted in killing and injuring the civilians,” describing these bombings as “Terrorist bombings.”

“What makes us more sorry is the timing of the bombings where they occurred in Ramadan month which emphasizes the mercy and forgiveness,” the statement added, assuring that “Turkey supports the Iraqi people to face terrorism.”

Turkey condoles the bereaved families of the victims and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded citizens,” the statement concluded.
