Turkish FM to visit Kurdistan Region to discuss Syrian situation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu, will visit Kurdistan Region to discuss the Syrian situation and the fight of Turkey against the rebellious Kurds who reside in northern Iraq.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry mentioned in a press statement on Wednesday “Davutoglu will visit Kurdistan Region on Wednesday noon to discuss regional issues and fighting terrorism.”

“We will not neglect any threat to Turkey by Syria as stated in some reports over the cooperation between rebellious Kurds and a Syrian Kurdish party in northern Syria,” the statement concluded.

It is worth mentioning that Turkey has deployed antiaircraft near the Syrian borders after targeting a Turkish plane by Syria.
