Turkish PKK activities condemned – Kurdish Interior Ministry

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Kurdistan’s Ministry of Interior condemned the actions carried out by anti-Turkish PKK party against Kurdish citizens, specifically the incident of the kidnapping of three citizens from the Zakho area one month ago. The whereabout and condition of the three kidnapees remainded until until the body of one of them was found. The Ministry described the actions as “inhumane” and contrary to the principles of human rights. In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, the Ministry said that one Kurdish citizen was found dead and two kidnapped at the end of the last year, charging the PKK with their arrest. The Ministry did not elaborate on the reasons for the kidnapping or the location of the arrest, only saying that a committee was formed to investigate the matter. The Turkish PKK party fighters are scattered throughout the border areas between Kurdistan and Turkey. RM (TI)/SR637
