Ukraine expresses readiness to support Iraq in military field

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi ambassador to Ukraine, Shurash Khalid, discussed with the Ukrainian Defense Minister the mutual relations especially the issues of the Middle East and the political updates in Iraq.

A statement by the Iraqi embassy in Kyiv received by IraqiNews.com cited “Khalid appreciated the development of the Iraqi-Ukrainian relations in all fields especially in the military fields assuring the possibility of expanding the cooperation in this field and holding courses to the Iraqis in the Ukrainian military academies.”

“For his part, the Ukrainian Defense Minister expressed the readiness of his country to cooperate with Iraq in the military field in other fields, appreciating the development of facing terrorism and sustaining stability in Iraq,” the statement concluded.
