Urgent – IHEC, Parliament reach agreement over dismissed candidates

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission assured on Thursday reaching an agreement with the Parliament to with cancel its legislative decision over not dismissing the candidates for the parliamentary elections.

The decision of the Parliament caused the members of the IHEC to submit their resignations as a result for disputes between the Iraqi Parliament and the Government over the candidates who were dismissed from the elections according to judicial resolutions.
