Urgent – .Iraqi government: “Oglu’s visit violates Iraqi sovereignty”

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Government considered that visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu to Kirkuk province as “A serious violation for the Iraqi sovereignty,” holding “Kurdistan Regional Government responsible for the sequences of this violation.”

The spokesperson of the Iraqi Government Ali al-Dabagh said in a press statement Thursday “Oglu’s visit was done without knowledge of the Iraqi Government which is considered a serious violation for the Iraqi sovereignty,” noting that “The Kurdistan RegionG is responsible for the subsequences of this violation.”

Earlier, the Iraqi Foreign Ministry has also condemned Oglu’s visit to Kirkuk province without notifying the Iraqi Foreign Ministry, which is not suitable for a behavior a foreign minister of a neighboring country.
