Urgent – .Iraqi Parliament postpones regular session till Monday

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Parliament postponed its regular session till tomorrow Monday.

Parliamentary source told Iraqi News on Sunday “The Speaker of the Parliament, Osama al-Nijaifi, decided to postpone the regular session of Sunday till next Monday for lack of quorum.”

It was scheduled to hold the regular session on this Sunday to read and vote on a number of law drafts, whoever the issue of Issawi’s guards prompted some MPs not to attend the session.

The Iraqiya Slate has threatened to withdraw its MPs from the regular sessions of the Parliament to protest the arrest of the Minister of Finance’s guards .
