US Defense Secretary in Iraq to attend US troops departure

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The US Defense Secretary, Leon E.Panetta, has arrived in Baghdad on Thursday to attend the occasion of US troopsdeparture from Iraq, scheduled to end during the forthcoming few days, al-Iraqiya TV State Channel reported. “US Defense Secretary, Leon E.Panetta, has arrived in Iraq on Thursday to attend the occasion of the departure of the American troops from Iraq,scheduled to be completed during the forthcoming few days,” the Channel said. Noteworthy is that the US troops are scheduled to complete their withdrawal from Iraq by the end of the current year, whilstsome reports said they would complete their withdrawal on Dec.17th.
