Voting to prevent U.S. forces from entering Missan

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Missan‘s Provincial Council voted unanimously today to prevent the U.S. forces from entering the province, following the arrest of five citizens, the vice-chairman of the security and defense commission said.  Maitham al-Fartousi told IraqiNews.com that the decision was made due to the arrest of five people, including a 13-year child, in an airborne operation.  He added that the Council threatened to suspend work if such an incident is repeated, particularly as it was already the second one in the province.  Amara, the center of Missan province, lies 390 km south of the capital, Baghdad.
