Waeli calls to vote on Budget law next Monday session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Sherwan al-Waeli, called the parliament to vote on the Federal Budget law of 2013 during next Monday parliament session to keep on the development and the services in the country.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “As we need to vote on the budget law as soon as possible, the political disputes over this law are still going on,” noting that “The parliament used to endorse the important laws through political deals.”

“The Kurdistani Alliance is adherent to increasing the share of the Region up to 17% in addition to calling for the financial dues of the oil firms working in the Region,” he added, noting that “We also have our demands represented by the call to increase the shares of the provinces.”

“We submitted a request signed by 120 MPs to set the distribution of the budget according to the population of each province as a condition within the law to endorse it by the parliament,” he concluded.
