White bloc calls Iraqi people to demonstrate over Davutoglu’s visit to Kurdistan Region

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Aziz al-Mayahi of the White bloc called the Iraqi people to demonstrate protesting the visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmed Davutoglu, to Kurdistan Region and Kirkuk province.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, Mayahi said “Davutoglu’s visit to Kurdistan Region is a provocative to all Iraqi people and the Iraqi people must face this kind of provocation and those who support it from Kurdistan Region because neglecting this issue means a violation to the Iraqi sovereignty .”

“The protest in not enough and the Turkish ambassador to Iraq must be dismissed and suspend the Iraqi ambassador to Turkey,” he added, noting that “The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barazani, must apologize to the Iraqi people over participating with Turkey in violating the sovereignty of Iraq.”

He called the Iraqi people “To demonstrate protesting this visit and calling to dismiss the Turkish ambassador to Iraq in addition to demanding an official apology from Kurdistan RegionG.”
