White bloc considers delay in handing over Jewish archive to Iraq by USA as Suspicious issue

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The White bloc considered not delivering the Iraqi Jewish archive to Iraq by the USA as a “Suspicious Issue.”

The spokesperson of the bloc, MP, Kadhim al-Shimmari, stated in a press statement on Saturday “The Iraqi Jewish archive is still in the USA for being maintained since six years.”

“The period of maintenance increases suspicious and the USA might make a copy to hand it over to Iraq and keep the original one for Israeli benefits,” he added.

“The Ministry of Culture conducted diplomatic talks with Washington in the last few months to bring back the Iraqi documents including the Jewish archive,” he concluded.
