White bloc expects political blocs to fail in withdrawing confidence from Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The White bloc expected that “The political blocs will fail in their attempts to withdraw confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

The Spokesman of the White bloc, Hasan al-Shimmari, stated to IraqiNews.com “The political conflicts will finish without achieving success of the attempt of withdrawing confidence from Maliki who will remain in his post for the rest of his second term.”

“The current meetings, which result from losing political interests, will not change the political scene,” he concluded.

Earlier, the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, headed a meeting involved the Kurdistani Alliance, the Iraqiya Slate and the Sadr Trend in Erbil on last Monday evening.
