White bloc: Maliki passes Sadr’s time limit

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The spokesperson of the White bloc, Kadhim al-Shimari, announced “The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, has passed the time limit set by the Sadr Trend that sided with his enemies, while Maliki moved to get support of most of Shiite alliances.”

In a press statement, receive by IraqiNews.com on Sunday, Shimari stated “Maliki, in his way, passed Sadrists’ time limit who gave him another time limit.”

“Maliki could pass the tensions with the Iraqiya Slate and the Kurdistani Alliance by keeping the tensions within the Iraqi National Alliance,” he concluded.

The political process witnesses complicated disputes between the Iraqiya Slate and the State of Law Coalition over not applying Erbil agreement and the council of the strategic council.

The political leaders held a meeting on Saturday at the residence of the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, to discuss the political crisis after the end of the set time to Maliki to respond to the letter of Erbil meeting.
