White bloc rules out settling crisis by Talabani, describes Kurds as being part of it

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The White bloc stated that the task of the President, Jalal Talabani, to settle the political crisis is difficult, noting that “Talabani’s task started to be hard when he started dealing with the Kurds themselves.”

The spokesperson of the bloc, Kadhim al-Shimmari, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Sunday “The Kurdistani Alliance has to be flexible while settling the political crisis because it is not Talabani’s task only, but it is the task of the Kurds because Talabani is one of them and they became a part of the crisis.”

“Talabani is within the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the KA has to facilitate his task and not to increase the tensions,” he added.

“Increasing the demands of the KA will complicate the crisis where all the political blocs have to show flexibility to settle it,” he added, noting that “The KA while insisting on applying Erbil agreement, aims to not settle the political crisis.”
