Will boycott sessions headed by Mashhadani – Kurdish MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A senior figure in the Kurdistan Alliance (KA), Mahmoud Othman, on Tuesday said that it will boycott parliamentary sessions presided over by Mahmoud al-Mashahadani, reiterating his bloc’s demands to replace the speaker of Iraq’s council of representatives. “We insist on replacing al-Mashhadani because his presence curbs the work of the parliament,” Othman told IraqiNews.com. “Blocs that insist on replacing al-Mashahadani are the Kurdistan Alliance, the United Iraqi Alliance (UIA), and Iraqi Islamic Party (IIP),” he added.
