$0.5 per oil barrel to production, refining provinces

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Each Iraqi province that produces or refines oil will receive $0.5 per barrel of its production according to the latest amendment in Iraq’s 2010 budget. “The same principle, but on a different scale, will be applied to provinces that produce gas or have religious tourists,” Lawmaker Alaa Saadon told IraqiNews.com news agency on Tuesday.
