$1.4B loans to finance small projects

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Labor on Sunday revealed plans to grant 53,000 loans worth $1.4 billion to finance small projects throughout the country, according to a ministerial statement. “The ministry has issued a report in which it outlined its soft loans program for small projects…,” read the statement that was received by IraqiNews.com. The statement explained that under the program, a total of 9,600 projects have been financed in the capital Baghdad, in addition to 44,373 others in the rest of Iraqi provinces. SS (P) 1
