107 out of 333 projects wrapped up in Muthanna

MUTHANNA / IraqiNews.com: A total of 107 projects have been set up out of 303 projects planned by the provincial construction authority in 2008. “Up until mid-December 2008, 333 projects, at a total cost of 140.714 billion Iraqi dinars (1 U.S. dollar = 1,118 Iraqi dinars) have been referred for construction. Nearly 160 projects are currently under construction,” the head of the authority, Haydar Abd Jaber, said in an interview with IraqiNews.com news agency. “The cost of the provincial development projects approved by local authorities is around160 billion ID, whereas the funds received for the projects are only 100.80 billion,” Jaber noted.
