4 billion ID in loans for Karbala farmers

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: More than 4 billion Iraqi dinars (ID) have been granted in loans to farmers in Karbala, according to the director of the province’s agricultural department. “The total amount is 4.237 billion ID (1 U.S. dollar = 1,118 Iraqi dinars),” Bahir Ghali told IraqiNews.com. “Nearly 794 farmers have benefited from the loans, which are expected to finance 892 projects” he said. “Committees were formed to follow up on the process,” he noted.
