BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The total amount that has been approved in loans in accordance with the Iraqi government’s agricultural initiative is 5.899 billion Iraqi dinars, the Iraqi Agriculture Ministry said in a release on Monday. “The loans embraced 518 applications related to the agricultural field,” said the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The initiative aims to develop the agricultural sector and to respond to farmers’ needs,” it added.
