5 MoUs signed by Kurdish-Jordan Economic Forum

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Kurdish-Jordanian Economic Forum ended today with the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs).   This was declared in a press conference, attended by IraqiNews.com, where Kurdish Industry and Trade Minister Sinan al-Chalabi  expressed his hopes in developing trade relations with neighboring countries, particularly Jordan, in the hopes of benefiting from the Jordanian economic expertise.   Chalabi called on Jordanian companies to participate in Kurdish region’s exhibitions and help establish a trade area in Kurdistan, similar to that of Jordan.   The MoUs signed covered the fields of agriculture, health, works, transport, communications and planning, as well as one between the two chambers of commerce.   On  his side, the Jordanian Industry Minister Hani al-Mulqi expressed hopes of lifting all hindrances before Jordanian trade and facilitate the work of the investors in building Kurdistan.
