6 Iraqi-Syrian committees to discuss mutual ties

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Six Iraqi-Syrian committees have been formed to discuss mutual relations between the two countries, Iraqi Trade Minister Abdulfalah al-Sudanisaid in a ministry release on Monday. “Iraqi-Syrian talks started on Sunday (April 12),” the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency quoted al-Sudani as saying. “The talks aim at establishing mutual relations in the fields of economy, trade, energy, electricity, water resources, and education,” he said. “Six committees were set up following the talks to allow Syria to invest in Iraq,” he added.
