Agreement to establish Iraqi-Syrian bank

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi finance minister, Bayan Jabor, and his Syrian counterpart, Mohammed al-Hassan, signed a financial and economic agreement of mutual cooperation between the two countries that embraced a preliminary deal to establish an Iraqi-Syrian bank with Iraq as a partner holding shares of 49 percent. “The two sides also agreed to activate agreements and customs cooperation,” said a release issued by the Iraqi Finance Ministry and received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The agreement that was signed by the two ministers included the folders of debts and the Iraqi-Syrian agreement,” it added.
