Agricultural extension post in Thi-Qar marshes

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: The Agricultural Department in Thi-Qar province on Friday started constructing an agricultural extension post at the marshes’ edges to raise awareness about agriculture methods in addition to providing them with the necessary requirements, the department director said. “The post will be located at al-Ekeika area, southeast of Souk al-Shyoukh (45 km southeast of Nassiriya),” Saad Waleed told IraqiNews.com. “The new extension station will cost 300 million Iraqi dinars and will take 90 days to set up,” he said.
