Al-Faw Port will change Iraqi economy’s course – ministry

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ministry of Transportation on Thursday said that the project of Al-Faw Port, which is scheduled to commence soon, will represent a landmark that will change the course of the Iraqi economy, as per a release issued by the Ministry. “ This port is a strategic project that will bring about this change,” said the release received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “ The strategic position of Iraq will make it the short-cut route to transport goods between the northern and southern parts of the world,” it added. “ We hope that the process of executing the project will start soon,” it asserted.
