Amounts to set up bridge in Basra increased to ID500m

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The Basra council decided on Wednesday to increase the amounts allocated to establish al-Tanouma bridge from 125 million to 500 million Iraqi dinars ($424,000), according to chairman of the Basra council. “The Basra council approved on Wednesday (April 21) to increase the financial allocations of al-Tanouma bridge project to 500 million Iraqi dinars instead of 125 million Iraqi dinars,” Jabbar Ameen told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The extra money will be used to overcome the difficulties facing the project,” he explained. “The approved amounts are part of the Basra council’s financial allocations,” he added.
