Baghdad hosts Iraqi-Syrian economic conf.

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Baghdad is hosting on Sunday an Iraqi-Syrian economic conference which aims at laying down a program to push forward relations and increase trade exchange between the two countries, according to the Iraqi trade ministry’s media advisor. “The meeting will bring together representatives of the private sector in both countries to discuss ways to further trade ties between the two sides,” Mohammed Hannoun told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Iraqi side hopes to reach agreements between the trade ministry and the Syrian industrial companies,” he added.
