Basra commission, Turkish company discuss housing project

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The Basra investment commission said it received on Monday a delegation from a Turkish company, ranked 150 among construction companies worldwide, to discuss a housing project in the province, according to a commission statement. Midhat Binjuin, the manager of the Turkish company, said “Our company has constructed many of the important projects in the Middle East, like hotels and electric stations, plants, and housing blocs.” “Our business has set off in Arbil and Sulaimanyia provinces,” he added. The commission’s head, Haider Ali said, “There will be a housing bloc for oil companies waiting to be implemented by any company according to the state company qualifications, as the province included around forty thousand housing blocs.” Basra lies 590 km south of Baghdad.
