Basra hosts conference on polymers tech.

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A conference on polymers manufacture and technology, the rehabilitation of Iraq’s State Company for Petrochemicals and the development of the fertilizers industry was held in the province of Basra on Sunday, according to the meeting’s secretary. “The two-day conference, organized by the Iraqi Polymers Association in tandem with the fertilizers and petrochemicals companies, will discuss 75 papers on the development of the polymers, petrochemicals and fertilizers industries,” Atheer Mahmoud Haddad told IraqiNews.com news agency. The gathering is attended by researchers from Basra and other province as well as representatives from industrial and investment companies, he noted.
