Basra ports company to receive electricity generators

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Ports Company in Basra has completed all preparations to receive power generating vessels at Umm Qasr and Khour al-Zubeir ports. “The ports are now ready to receive the vessels…,” the company’s director general, Eng. Aziz Hashem, told IraqiNews.com news agency. The vessels have a capacity of 144 and 220 megawatts and will arrive at the ports in March and April, the director pointed out.
