BM: Hamidiya Water project inaugurated in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Governorate inaugurated al-Hamidiya Water project to the north of Baghdad, which will supply more than 75% of the district with potable water, with a total cost of IQD 1,350,000,000 billion. A statement by the BG quoted the Baghdad Technical Deputy Governor Kamil al-Saadi as saying “We inaugurated al-Hamidiya water project which will serve more than 75% of the district’s citizens,” noting that “The production capacity reaches up to 200 sq. meters per hour at a total cost of IQD billion and 350 million.” Saadi added “The project was implemented in a record period of no more than 12 months,” stressing that “The Governorate is determined to launch other necessary service projects in this district which suffers from lack of the basic services.”
