Crude oil test-pumping from Nassiriya to start soon

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: Crude oil test-pumping will soon start from the Nassiriya field, with a capacity that may reach 15,000 barrels per day (bpd) during the first stage of production, the operations’ director of the state-run South Oil Company said on Wednesday. “Production will start in the coming few days,” Dhiaa Jaafar told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The field, which is in al-Geteaa area (27 km northern Thi-Qar), consists of five wells, three of them will be in production,” he said.
