Diwaniya achieves ID2b from its oil refinery

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: The Diwaniya province has achieved revenues of around ID2 billion from refining oil in its Oil Refinery. “These revenues are for the year 2010,” a local source told IraqiNews.com news agency on Thursday. He explained that the amount is not big or important to the province. “The Iraqi law has not given Diwaniya oil revenues as other provinces; therefore, services in Diwaniya will be far behind other places in Iraq few years from now,” the source added.
