Female Embezzler netted in Ministry of Trade

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Investigations Department of the Integrity Commission announced continuing the scrutiny process to determine the total amounts of money embezzled by a female employee within the Ministry of Trade through forging receipts. A report set by the ID cited that “The investigation team through coordination with the Inspector General office of the MoT and the Investigation Committee of the Special Companies Registration Directorate, monitored till the end of the last month, (IQD 3,648 million) embezzled by the earlier mentioned suspect,” assuring that “The investigation is ongoing to monitor the rest of the receipts that she has signed.” The ID demanded according to a resolution by the investigation Judge to interrogate with the employees of the MoT who were in charge of auditing the receipts organized by the suspect in order to know the reasons behind not exposing her fraud. The Integrity Commission demanded according to a judicial resolution, the Real Estate Directorate and the Public Traffic Directorate to inform the IC about the real estates or vehicles belonging to the suspect, her husband and her children so as to reserve these possessions.
