Finance minister calls on Iraqi ambassadors to attract investors

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Finance Minister Baqer al-Zubaidi urged Iraqi ambassadors to make efforts to attract investments to Iraq, according to a ministerial statement. “Al-Zubaidi received on Wednesday (May 12) Iraqi ambassadors to Germany, Slovakia, Czech, Kuwait , Japan and Norway,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The minister called on the ambassadors to activate Iraq’s presence in the international arena and to attracts investments in housing and energy sectors as well as the strategic projects,” the statement added.
