First stage of Amara bridge completed

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: A local company has conducted the first stage of a project to build suspension bridge in downtown Amara City, a local director said on Thursday. “A total of 24.8 billion Iraqi dinars (ID) has been allocated for the project from the 2008 ministerial investment plan,” the director of the project, Eng. Salem Abd Shathar told IraqiNews.com news agency. The project will see the light of day on March 14, 2010, the director noted.
