Government approves amendments on 2010 budget

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Council of Ministers approved amendments on the country’s 2010 budget proposed by Parliament, the official spokesperson of the Iraqi government said on Tuesday. “The Council agreed to allocate ID267,385,000,000 to the Parliament, and 313,569,650,000 to the Supreme Judicial Council, in addition to ID250,000,000,000 to the two institutions of martyrs and political prisoners,” Dr. Ali al-Dabbagh said in a release received by IraqiNews.com news agency. He said that the Council also approved ID263,511,000,000 as Kurdistan’s shares of the budget to develop regions. MH (P)/SR 2
