Industry minister, Basra governor mull development of companies

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Industry Minister, Fawzy Hariri, discussed with Basra Governor, Shaltagh Abboud, ways to develop the industrial companies in the southern Basra and to strength its role in reviving the Iraqi economy, according to a ministry’s statement. “The minister held the meeting with the governor in Baghdad at the ministry’s headquarters, which was attended by the ministry’s undersecretaries,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. For his part, the governor expressed happiness to meet the officials, asserting that the ministry’s companies could contribute in the development of the Iraqi economy and reviving the economy in Basra.
