Iraq express readiness to cooperate with International Bank

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq confirmed its readiness to coordinate with the International Bank.

A statement by Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Labeed Abbawi, received the US Deputy Assistant of Minister of Treasury and the accompanied delegation as they discussed Iraq’s commitments towards the International Bank.”

“The US official praised the positive role and the progress in the financial aspect, assuring the US support to Iraq to develop its financial and economic experiences,” the statement added.

“Abbawi confirmed that Iraq is adherent to upgrade its financial experience and to fight corruption,” the statement concluded.
