Iraq makes $5 million from naval company

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq made a profit of $5 million from the Arab Bridge Maritime Company, the Iraqi Ministry of Transportation said in a release issued on Monday. “The company’s profits in 2008 were $28 million,” said the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The three partners in the company (Iraq, Egypt, and Jordan) agreed to receive $5 million in profit each,” it added. “The capital of the company was increased by $7 million to reach $66 million,” it noted.
