Iraq, Russia to boost oil, gas cooperation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq and Russia have agreed to expand oil and gas cooperation, an official spokesperson for the Iraqi government said on Saturday. During Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s current visit to Moscow, means of boosting cooperation in the field of oil and gas, investment opportunities, hydrocarbon projects and training were discussed, Ali al-Dabbagh said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. On Thursday (April 9), Maliki led a high-ranking delegation on an official visit to Moscow, which is expected to last until April 11, as part of a tour that also includes Paris and London. SS (P) 1
