Iraqi banking delegation to visit Beirut next month

BAGHDAD , Sept. 19 (Iraqi News) – An Iraqi banking delegation will visit Beirut next month to be acquainted with the modern techniques and experiences which will help Iraqi banks facing the current obstacles, the executive manager of the Iraqi Banks League said on Friday. “During the visit, scheduled on October 27, the Iraqi delegation will seek to hold contacts with the Lebanese banks association,” Abdul Aziz Hasoun told IraqiNews.com – Voices of Iraq (Iraqi News). “The Lebanese association is the first Arab banks association which was established in 1959 and the delegation will hold contacts with it to benefit from its great experience to boost the new Iraqi league’s experience,” he explained. The Iraqi Banks League was established in 2005 and consists of 25 Iraqi banks and 3 foreign banks. SH (P) 1
