Iraqi, Syrian ministers discuss mutual trade exchange

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi finance minister, Baqir Jabbor al-Zobaidi, and the Syrian trade and economy minister, Amir Hassan Lutfi, conferred on trade exchange between the two countries, and establishing a free zone at Al-Qaim border point. “The two sides also discussed the issue of expanding the border point between the two countries, to comply with the anticipated commercial expansion,” said a release issued by the Iraqi Finance Ministry and received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The two sides conferred the issue of establishing an Iraqi-Syrian mutual bank, to provide services to the two countries’ people,” it added.
