Iraqi-Turkish conf. in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: A joint conference was held on Tuesday by the Iraqi businessmen association with the Turkish consulate in Basra to develop commercial relations between the two countries, according to the association’s chairman. “The conference which was held in Basra, with the attendance of Turkish consul and a number of Iraqi and Turkish businessmen discussed ways to develop commercial relations between the two sides,” Subeih Yousr al-Hashemi told IraqiNews.com news agency. There is a great desire by the Turkish businessmen to implement projects in Basra, he added. “The Turkish tackled also all difficulties facing the development of economic relations with the rest of the world and those which seek to invest in Basra,” the Iraqi official said.
